2025-26 Upper Deck Stature Hockey: What We Know
Upper Deck is bringing out a new hockey set, 2025-26 Upper Deck Stature Hockey, which should hit shelves on September 16, 2026. This is a brand-new release, so it's a fresh start for hockey collectors. Since it's the first time we're seeing Stature, we don't have any past data in the HobbyCardIndex catalog. We'll be watching its market performance and how collectors react once it's out.
The 2025-26 Upper Deck Stature Hockey set is going to have a 200-card base set. It's split into three parts: Base Veterans (100 cards), Base Rookies (50 cards), and Base Legends (50 cards). This seems like a pretty good way to cover current stars, new talent, and some of the game's greats.
You can probably expect a bunch of parallels for the Base Veterans, which is always a fun chase for those rarer versions. These include Red, numbered to 175 copies; Green, numbered to 99; Blue, numbered to 65; Black, numbered to 35; and Purple, which is pretty scarce at just 10 copies. The Gold parallel for Base Veterans is probably the toughest pull, as they're all 1-of-1s.
The Base Rookies also have their own set of parallels. Red parallels are numbered to 175. Green parallels are limited to 99 copies. Blue parallels come in at 65 copies. Black parallels are even rarer at 35 copies. Purple parallels are printed to only 10 copies, and the Gold parallels are 1-of-1s for each of the 50 rookie cards. It's the same deal for Base Legends, too, with Red (#/175), Green (#/99), Blue (#/65), Black (#/35), Purple (#/10), and Gold (1-of-1) parallels across their 50 cards. So, the rarity scale seems pretty consistent across all three base categories.
Beyond the Base Cards
Outside of the base set, the product will also have a few insert sets. "Above the Ice" is a 25-card insert, each numbered to 99. "Hidden Gems" is another 25-card insert, with each card limited to 75 copies. "Splendid Skaters" has 25 cards, each numbered to 50. If you're looking for something really limited, "Laser Luminous" presents 25 cards, each a 1-of-1. The set also includes "Monumental Moments," a 25-card insert with each card numbered to 10. These inserts should give collectors some more variety and things to hunt for.
Autographs & Patches
For those who like autographed cards, the product includes "Signature Shots," a 50-card set where each card is signed and numbered to 99. "Rookie Redemptions" offers 25 cards, each limited to 25 copies, which is a nice chase for top first-year players. We'll also see "Prestigious Patches" with 25 cards, each numbered to 10. The most exclusive autographed cards are probably "Iconic Ink," a 25-card set with each card a 1-of-1, and "Prime Prospects," another 25-card set, also 1-of-1s. These low-numbered and unique cards will likely get a lot of attention.
Box Configuration
The rough version of the product configuration is 8 cards per pack, with 1 pack per box, and 8 boxes per case. Each box is projected to contain 1 autograph or relic card, 1 numbered parallel, and 2 insert cards. This seems like a fairly consistent setup for what you'd get in each box.
Market Outlook
Since it's a new release, 2025-26 Upper Deck Stature Hockey doesn't have any past sales to compare it to. The market will set the values for its cards once it's released. Collectors will probably be looking at things like player selection, how the cards look, how many are printed (pop), and how appealing the autograph and relic cards are. The initial buzz around this release will be pretty important for where it lands in the market long-term.
We'll start tracking real sold comps for 2025-26 Upper Deck Stature Hockey once the set becomes available on the market.
