HobbyCardIndex (HCI) is tracking the 2026 Pulse Aura Baseball Max Edition, a new card product dropping September 30, 2026. This looks like the first edition in the Pulse Aura Baseball Max series; we don't have any earlier ones in our catalog. So, collectors checking out this product are probably looking at a brand new thing in the baseball card market.
The 2026 Pulse Aura Baseball Max Edition will have a 250-card base set. Beyond that, there's a bunch of parallel and insert sets. "Quantum Leap" is one of the more interesting inserts, with 20 cards, and the "Stellar Signatures" autograph subset has 15 cards. I think these subsets give collectors some good chase cards beyond the regular stuff.
Rarity is a big deal here. The "Cosmic Chrome" parallel, limited to 50 copies per card, should be pretty popular. Even harder to find are the "Nebula Refractor" parallels, just 25 copies for each card, and the "Galactic Glimmer" parallel, restricted to only 10 copies per card. The "Infinity Shard" is the scarcest parallel, a 1/1 for each card, making it the toughest pull. For autograph collectors, the "Stellar Signatures Prime" subset has signed cards, limited to just 5 copies each.
Hobby boxes are expected to retail for $120. Each box has 10 packs, with 8 cards per pack, so that's 80 cards a box. Distributors are selling cases with 12 hobby boxes for $1,380 a case. That kind of pricing suggests a $12 per pack cost if you're buying a hobby box.
Since this is a first-time release, we don't have any old data from previous Pulse Aura Baseball Max Edition sets to guess at pre-release values. No predecessor means collectors and investors will be setting the market value for this product from day one. Our tracker will keep an eye on real sold prices for singles and sealed product once it's out.
Without past market performance to check, collectors should really look at the rarity tiers and the player checklist. High-grade slabs (like PSA 10, BGS 9.5) of the lowest-numbered parallels, say "Infinity Shard" and "Galactic Glimmer," are usually the first signs of market interest in new sets. The "Stellar Signatures Prime" cards, because they're so rare, will probably be watched closely too.
On release day, HCI will start tracking live sold prices for all cards from the 2026 Pulse Aura Baseball Max Edition as they hit the secondary market.
