Two Ways to Delete

Option 1: In the app

Log in, go to Settings → Account, and click "Delete Account". You'll confirm twice, then prove it's you with your password, or with a one-time code we email you if you signed up through Google, Microsoft, Apple or eBay.

If you have marketplace orders, offers, bids, disputes, payouts or chat messages, the app will ask you to email support instead.

Option 2: By email (within 30 days)

Email privacy@hobbycardindex.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" from the email address on your account. We'll do it for you within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted Right Away

Your profile and sign-in details, collection, watchlists, alerts, grade lists, saved searches and browse history, scan history, notifications, AI assistant history and usage logs, dealer inventory and customer records, community posts, comments, stories and direct messages, affiliate account, email engagement events, sessions and trusted devices, and any eBay sign-in tokens.

What Stays, and Why

Scan photos in our image storage are not removed automatically. Email us after deleting and we'll remove them, and any copies used for card recognition, within 30 days.

A deletion record in our security log: your username, email address, plan, when the account was created and deleted, and the IP address of the request. We keep it to prove the deletion happened and to prevent abuse of free trials and promotions.

Backups roll off within about five weeks. We don't restore deleted accounts from them.

Marketplace records are removed or de-identified within 30 days, except what tax, accounting and dispute rules require us to keep. Stripe keeps its own payment records, as payment processors must.

Deletion is permanent, and it doesn't cancel a paid subscription on its own. Cancel under Settings → Billing first, or tell us in your email and we'll cancel it for you.
